Here is a simple prayer to reflect upon and pray through as look upon 2022 and what the Lord might have for you in this new year:

Lord God, King of the Universe and Ruler over the turning centuries,
we lift up grateful hearts to You in this new year.
We launch our boats on the unknown waters
with you, O Father, as our harbor,
with you, O Son, at our helm,
and with you, O Holy Spirit, filling our sails.
Grant us your abounding grace
so that our lives are more satisfying and less selfish,
more fulfilling and less driven,
more peaceful and less guilt ridden
through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
